A training-cum-interaction programme on ‘Scientific Methods of Beekeeping for Doubling of Farmers Income’ was held at Kangchup Chiru Village in Kangpokpi district on Wednesday. The AICRP stated that the programme was organised by the Action for Social Justice Organisation (AFSJO) under the All India Coordinated Research Projects (AICRP) on Honey Bee and Pollination. The training programme was attended by Central Agriculture University (CAU) dean Indira Sarangthem, CAU registrar, Kangchup Chiru chairman TR Jacob, along with the principal investigators of AICRP on Honey Bee and Pollination as the guests of honours, it added.
