Congratulating Prem Luikham for becoming the first ever chief engineer of PWD from Tangkhul community, the Tangkhul Katamnao Long on Friday wished him good luck in all his endeavours.

Luikham was promoted to chief engineer PWD from the post of additional chief engineer on March 14 following an order issued by the joint secretary of the Works department in the name of the governor.
Speaking to the media at Manipur Press Club in Imphal, president of TKL, Thansing WS, extended appreciation to the chief minister and the Works minister for giving due recognition without any biases.

The union prayed for more success and peaceful working of the government, he added.
