Three sub deputy collectors (SDCs) of Manipur have been suspended for allegedl involvement in registering fake beneficiaries under PM Kisan Saman Nidhi Scheme in Bishnupur district, stated an order issued by the Manipur government.
Three of them are suspended with immediate effect from Monday by an order of the state government in exercise of the power conferred by Sub-Rule (2) of Rule 10 of the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1965. They were suspended for their alleged involvement in registering fake beneficiaries under the PM Kishan Samman Nidhi Scheme in Bishnupur district, it stated.
The order further stated that disciplinary proceedings are also being contemplated against the three officials. They are LA/SDC, Bishnupur Robert Okram; LA/SDC(HQ),DC's Office, Thoubal Salam Blmoljit Singh and UV SDC, Lilong Kh Rahina Shahni, it stated.
The order also forbade the three suspended officials from leaving their respective headquarters without obtaining prior permission from the competent authority during the period as enforced by the order.
