Office of the Deputy Commissioner Thoubal, Government of Manipur on Monday informed the public that the Department of Information Technology, Government of Manipur in association with M/s HCLTECH will conduct a Skill Development Training with a job placement programme called ‘HCL TechBee Manipur’ in IT Sector for students who have completed Class XII in 2023/2024.
The public notice issued by Deputy Commissioner, Thoubal, A Subhash Singh, informed that the counseling cum examination for recruitment will be conducted on July 31 at Aisect Thoubal, Okram Wangmataba, Thoubal from 11 am onwards.
The statement also said that the state government will provide a subsidy of Rupees 50,000 against the training fees for the selected candidates from Manipur. A loan facility is also available for the remaining amount, it added.
It notified the eligibility criteria stating that students who have completed Class 12 in 2023/2024 with overall 65 percent or more in Class 12 under the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur or 70 per cent or more in Class 12 under CBSE/ICE board; candidates who have scored 60 percent or more marks in Mathematics/Business Mathematics for IT roles and candidates not having Mathematics are eligible for Associate roles (Non-IT).
