He was administered the oath of office by special chief secretary MH Khan in a simple ceremony held at the Conference Hall of Manipur Secretariat (South Block), Imphal West on Monday. 

T Ranjit Singh will remain as the chairperson of Manipur Staff Selection Commission for a period of three years from the date on which he enters upon his office.

The ceremony was attended by Administrative Secretaries of various departments among others and was conducted by the department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (Personnel Division).
