Speaking on the occasion, Khomdram Gyaneshwar said that even after 74 years of independence, the government of India still has not given the well deserved recognition to Subhas Chandra Bose who sacrificed everything for the independence of India. He said that the authorities have completely denied Subhash Chandra Bose’s visionary dream of ‘scientific socialism’ form of governance for India, it further stated.

Drawing the authorities’ attention, it also stated that the nation should give proper recognition to Manipur as the place where the first flag of independent India was hoisted after Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose led INA group drove the British colonial force away.
