Shiv Sena Manipur State Unit will start taking a forward step in saving Manipur by setting aside politics temporarily, said state president M Tombi on Wednesday.
Tombi was addressing the media at its state party head office, Babupara. To defend the territorial boundary of Manipur, Shiv Sena will sideline politics temporarily and will be heading towards saving Manipur, he said.
He further announced that Longjam Momocha Singh alias Veeshal, son of L Dolendro Singh of Uyumpok Terapur, Imphal East has been appointed as state president of Yuva Sena Manipur Pradesh.
Dolendro was appointed as Yuva Sena state president as per constitution of the Shivsena Manipur Pradesh vide article no. 12, he said.
Later, newly enrolled Yuva sena were also received by the state president with a party stole.
