Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh has arrived at Shirui village in Ukhrul district to attend the inaugural programme of the Shirui Lily Festival 2022.
The 4th Shirui Lily Festival will be held from May 25 to 28 in Ukhrul district, Manipur, after being in hiatus for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tourism director W Ibohal has said that the overall footfall of tourists at the Shirui Lily Festival 2022 is expected to reach as high as over five lakh.

On Tuesday, the Manipur State Transport (MST) announced that a daily dedicated public transport system has been arranged for ferrying the general public and interested individuals to attend and take part at the Shirui Lily Festival.
It may be mentioned here, that the the much-anticipated Shirui Festival 2022 will open a new chapter in its history by introducing the first ever edition of Miss Shirui Lily 2022.
