Manipur Governor Anusuiya Uikey has suggested shifting those people who are in different relief camps in the state to their respective places safely.
The governor was speaking during a meeting held on Sunday in view of the prevailing turmoil in the state.

The meeting was attended by security advisor to the Government of Manipur, Kuldiep Singh and overall operational commander, ADGP (intelligence), Ashutosh Sinha, a release stated.
During the meeting, the two high ranking police officials also put forward their suggestions to the governor to solve the unprecedented unfortunate incidents, it stated.

Uikey asserted that she had already urged all sections of the society to amicably solve the problem through peaceful dialogue, it mentioned.
She further appreciated the relentless efforts made by the security forces to save valuable lives and properties at this critical juncture, it stated.
The governor suggested to shift those people who are in different relief camps to their respective places safely, which was acceded to by both the security advisor and the operational commander, it mentioned.
Uikey exuded confidence that through the efforts of intellectuals, the issue will be solved and peace and tranquility will be restored in the state soon, it added.
