Pawan Yadav, a 2014 batch IAS officer, was at the helm of Churachandpur district Administration from august 2019. An engineering graduate from IIT Roorkee, Pawan Yadav had a meaningful and fruitful tenure as deputy commissioner of Churachandpur district for almost three years.

New DC Sharath Chandra Arroju is a civil servant as well as a medical graduate (MBBS). He already had a stint in Churachandpur district when he was SDO, Tuibong in 2019-21. He was the staff officer to chief secretary and joint secretary, government of Manipur.

Both officers were serving the people of Churachandpur district in different capacities during the height of the pandemic.
