BJP Churachandpur on Saturday organised an ‘Intellectual Meet’ as part of Seva Pakhwada to mark the Birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Vazing village community hall.
It was attended by Minister of PWD & YAS Konthoujam Govindas; chairman of Loktak Development Authority M Asnikumar Singh; MLA of Saikot AC Paulenlal Haokip and MLA of Thanlon AC and adviser to the CM Vungzagin Valte.
On the occasion, Minister Konthoujam Govindas spoke about the life, vision, policies and achievements of the Prime Minister, including his selfless and humble beginnings. These are the reasons why we need a leader like PM Modi because he was a struggler, humble and noble, a man who did nothing for himself or his family but only for the people through various schemes including the micro revolution which changed the life of the ordinary people.
The minister said that the Prime Minister brought about positive changes and transformed India with his policy of 'People and Nations first’.
Asnikumar Singh, who is also the spokesman of BJP Manipur, spoke about the achievement of PM Modi saying that the prime minister brought changes within 7-8 years that others could not in a longer period of time. He is a dynamic, selfless leader who cares for all Indians and their interests by rewarding the performing officers, he said.
