Cultivation seeds and sprayers distribution programme jointly organised by Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Imphal East and Central Agricultural University (CAU), Iroisemba was held at the residence of Naorem Munal Meitei at Kakching Mayai Leikai on Sunday.

Ten fertiliser sprayers and seeds of both summer and winter crops were handed over to a few selected farmers of Kakching district.

During the distribution programme, 10 fertiliser sprayers and seeds of both summer and winter crops were handed over to a few selected farmers of Kakching district.
On the occasion, senior scientist Soram Molibala Devi said that the distribution programme was organised as part of KVK’s initiative of providing beneficial facilities to the farmers with the help of the latest technology.

Mentioning the importance of keeping up to date with the latest technology for the farmers, Naorem Munal Meitei drew the attention of KVK, CAU, Agriculture and Horticulture department for the inclusion of Kakching farmers in the upcoming schemes.
