The Directorate of Eduation on Wednsday issued an order stating that all schools of the state, government, government aided, private unaided and central schools situated in the valley districts will stay closed on November 21, 22 and 23 keeping in mind the safety of the students.
The order is issued in continuation of this office order of even no. dated the November 17 and 19, it said.
All zonal education officers under the Department of Education-Schools, Manipur are hereby directed to inform all concerned under your jurisdiction and take up necessary actions accordingly, it mentioned.
This is issued with the approval of the Government conveyed in consultation with the Home Department vide letter no.AS/10/2024-EDN(S)-EDN(S) dated Wednesday, it added.
