Former MLA and BJP intending candidate Janghemlung Panmei on Saturday inaugurated ‘Saturday Mini Mart’ at Chingkhiulong Ward No V near Punjab National Bank, Tamenglong HQ.
The mini mart aims to create market avenues for unemployed women and youths to sell their home-made items and crafts to create awareness and to uplift economic conditions of the unemployed youths.
Speaking on the occasion, BJP intending candidate Janghemlung Panmei expressed his sincere thanks to the proprietor of Saturday Mini Mart for creating such avenues to show case the talents of youths.
He also urged all the stalls members to create more crafts. The Saturday Mini Mart has altogether 15 different stalls, selling beautiful homemade items.
Entrepreneur Theodora Gangmei and Akhiumei Riamei launched the Saturday Mini Mart to create a platform for showcasing talents.
