It is the result of the efforts and immense dedication of the artists that the art form Thang-Ta is booming rapidly all over the world, Amusana said, adding that likewise it is time for artists to give their best to uplift those dying indigenous art forms in world class standard.

Moreover, artists need the support of the government in order to cope with their livelihood while giving emphasis in their works, she added.

She appealed to all the artists of Manipur to be always punctual and maintain a time-bound manner while taking up any activities ahead of consulting the gurus and teachers for any doubts.

Giving the presidential speech, assistant professor of MUC, Manju Elangbam, lauded KNCO and the participants of the workshop for being able to successfully produce a folk dance just within a span of one week which is too short.

The programme was also attended by assistant professor of MUC Nganbi Chanu as guest of honour along with other artists and students.
