As per sources, the villagers of Senjam Chirang and Khurkhul Maning have been able to resume their agricultural activities under the escort of the A/67 Battalion CRPF. The sources mentioned that over the past year, villagers were unable to engage in agricultural activities due to attacks by Kuki militants on Meitei villages.

The women blocked the passage at Khurkhul Lamkhai, Khurkhul Moirang Lamkhai and Loitang Khunou Spinning Mill Bazar Board.

Officer in charge of Sekmai Police Station quickly responded to the situation and convinced the women that there had been a change in the CRPF deployment.
