RPF pays revolutionary salute to the victims of the attack and shares the loss of the bereaved families, stated a release issued by deputy secretary, publicity Roben Khuman. Taking the lives of innocent civilians by the Indian armed forces in their attempt to counter the self-determination movement in the region is not new, RPF stated. This has been a frequent occurrence during the endless war for independence, it added.

The "Delhi Bandits" expressing anguish over the deaths which is a direct result of AFSPA being implemented in the region under military occupation in the name of democracy, was an act of shedding crocodile tears, it further stated.

Giving punishment to the army personnel involved in the killing would never be a possibility as they are given immunity and protection by the AFSPA, it continued.  ‘Delhi Bandits’ can only express words which are ‘sugar coated bullets’ to console the public, it added.

RPF stated that the deaths would be settled with some amount of money with their next of kin. “Only our dear brethren killed by the Indian armed forces are the ones who are losing in this,” it added.

“The harsh reality is that as long as we exist as an occupied colony of India, these forms of oppression will continue in the region. Therefore, the people of ‘Western South East Asia (WESEA)’ must come together and wage a war until independence is achieved,” RPF stated.

Lastly, RPD pays its revolutionary homage to the deceased Naga brethren and offers prayers to let their souls rest in eternal peace at the abode of the Almighty, it added.
