RIMS observes national Anti-Ragging Week

RIMS director professor G Sunil Kumar Sharma ppealed to the students to refrain from ragging activities and to make the institute a ragging free campus, a release stated.

Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal on Sunday concluded observance of National Anti-ragging Week which was observed from August 12 to August 18 at the Jubilee Hall, RIMS, Imphal.

RIMS director professor G Sunil Kumar Sharma, medical superintendent of RIMS Hospital, professor N Sanjib, dean (Academics) professor Brogen Singh Akoijam and principal of Dental College, RIMS, professor B Praveen Reddy, among others, attended the event, stated a release.

Speaking at the function, professor G Sunil Kumar Sharma appealed to the students to refrain from ragging activities and to make the institute a ragging free campus, it mentioned.

As a part of observance, a series of activities were conducted which included film shows, logo designing competition, slogan composition competition, poster making competition and skit competition etc.. Prizes were also distributed during the function, it stated.

Faculty members, staff and students of RIMS Imphal, among others attended the event, it added.
