Rescue Operation Manipur Landslide Day 4: Search for the missing continues amid rains

IFP Ground Report: The rescue team recovered one more body on Sunday, while 18 persons have been rescued alive from the Tupul landslide site so far.

Treading through the mudsludge worsened by the persisting rainfall at the site of the massive landslide at Marangching, Tupul in Noney district, Manipur, the rescue operation continued for the fourth day in search of the missing persons on Sunday. One more body was recovered till about 12 noon, as per ground report.

So far, as many as 35 bodies have been recovered, while 27 others remained missing. A total of 18 people have been rescued, so far, from the landslide debris around the incident site.
