With the aim to facilitate smooth resettlement and to resolve the pension related anomalies of ex-servicemen of army, navy, airforce and Assam rifle personnel, a Suvigya Cell was established by Red Shield Signallers under the aegis of Red Shield Division and Spear Corps. The cell was established in the interior areas of Bishnupur district for a period of three days from May 25 to 27, said a release issued by the PRO (Defence). In addition to pension matters, queries related to Post Discharge Claim (PDC) and financial assistance of NOK (Next of Kin) were also addressed, it said adding a total anomaly of 156 ESM amounting to Rs. 67,23,700 were resolved.
