Raj Medicity resumes admission of Non-Covid, Covid Patients

Raj Medicity hospital in Imphal has arranged refilled oxygen cylinders from neighbouring states in the wake of increasing COVID-19 positive cases.

Raj Medicity on Sunday announced that it had resumed admission of Non-Covid and Covid patients with immediate effect.

As a fierce second wave of the pandemic ravages through the state, cases have steadily risen in Manipur over the last few weeks, a release stated, adding that the surge in infection has overwhelmed the hospital system, leading to shortage of oxygen.

However, with much effort and support from the government of Manipur, Raj Medicity has been able to procure and arrange refilled oxygen cylinders from neighbouring states, the release stated.

With such arrangements, Raj Medicity has resumed admission of new patients both Covid and Non Covid patients with immediate effect, it added.
