Principal secretary health, V. Vumlunmang Wednesday visited Tengnoupal District and inspected the conditions of different Hospital and Primary Health Centres (PHCs) located in the district.
During his visit to Tengnoupal PHC, the principal secretary met with the hospital authority and discussed the needs of the centre. He also instructed the authority to intimate him when any needs arise. He also visited the sub-district Hospital/ Covid Care Centre Moreh and discussed the infrastructure and availability of doctors and staff.
Later, he visited PHC Moreh and met with the staff of the centre. Doctors and authority highlighted the needs and problem of PHC. Vumlunmang also discussed the matter pertaining to allotment of staff quarters for the doctors of sub-district hospital Moreh.
Vumlunmang also visited different locations such as Sibong Khundengthabi village, Haolenphai village and looks for the site demonstration for Oil Palm tree plantation. Later discussed with District Administration for the mass cultivation of this Oil Palm tree in the region.
Vumlunmang was accompanied by M. Rajkumar- DC Tengnoupal, Th. Vikramjit- SP Tengnoupal, L. Manikanta- ADC Moreh, Kh. Gojen singh- CMO Tengnoupal District and I. Dineshkumar- SDO Moreh.
