Outlawed organisation, People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (Progressive) extended condolences over the sudden demise of its lance corporal Yunglama Kongam alias Alex, son of late YJohn Akoijam from Machi sub division, Tengnoupal district on Saturday.

A release issued by its senior publicity officer PREPAK (Pro) mentioned that Alex passed away around 5.55 am on Saturday due to an illness. He joined the organisation in March, 2019 and received basic military training at its 54th batch, it stated.

Alex took up and carried out major roles and responsibilities for the organisation in its self-determination movement for the independence of Kangleipak (Manipur), it mentioned. PREPAK (Pro) shares the loss and pain of the bereaved family, it added.
