Power shutdown on Saturday, says MSPDCL

There will be planned power shutdown for all the consumers of 11KV Singda feeder, and Western-1 and JNV feeders from Yurembam substation that there will be a planned shutdown on Saturday.

Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) on Friday notified all the consumers of 11KV Singda feeder, and Western-1 and JNV feeders from Yurembam substation that there will be a planned shutdown on Saturday. 

A release by MSPDCL stated that the consumers of the 11KV Singda feeder will not get power supply on Saturday from 9 am till 4 pm for road expansion work. “Consumers of Lamshang, Heibongpokpi, Haorang Sabal, Phayeng, Lairen Sajik, Singda and Kangchup areas will not get power supply during said hours,” it read.

MSPDCL also stated that the consumers of Western-1 and JNV feeders from Yurembam substation will not get power supply on Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm for utility shifting regarding ongoing road expansion at Khumbong.

The areas of the planned shutdown include Yurembam, Awangkhunou, Konthoujam, Sagoltongba, Khumbong, Kamong, Awang Jiri, Kheithelmanbi, Kheithelmanbi Assam Rifles etc, it mentioned.  Inconvenience caused is deeply regretted, it added.
