Passing out parade for BSF recruits held in Churachandpur

As many as 243 recruits were undergoing a 44-week-long rigorous training, and they were administered oath of allegiance to the nation by assistant commissioner Kishor Kumar.

A grand passing out parade for new recruits of batch No 238 was held at Border Security Force's subsidiary training centre located at Mualkoi on Friday.  

The parade was carried out with the attendance of IG of the centre Umesh Kumar Nayal as chief guest and weightlifter and Arjuna awardee of the state N Soniya Chanu as guest of honour.

As many as 243 recruits were undergoing a 44-week-long rigorous training, and they were administered oath of allegiance to the nation by assistant commissioner Kishor Kumar. The new recruits were trained with weapon handling, firing, drill , border  management law, internal security , human rights, map reading etc.

On the occasion, the chief guest welcomed the new recruits and congratulated them, asking them to use all their energy to secure the boundary of the nation.

He also appreciated the efforts of the instructor who made great efforts in bringing up new recruits to protect the borders of the country and called the BSF as ‘India's first line defence’ where the personnel need to learn new things first hand through their training.
