Paomee Welfare Foundation (PWFD) has invited applications from eligible beneficiaries to avail the ‘Medical Financial Assistance Scheme’ Phase -1 for the year 2020-21 with its validity for treatments done between April 1, 2020 to September 31, 2020.
A release issued by the foundation said that eligible beneficiaries may hand-in the applications at the Press Club reception counter or mail the prescribed form of the MFAS with relevant documents (scanned copies) to pwf.manipur@gmail.com.
It said that bonafide AMWJU members as well as retired journalists who had been members of AMWJU for more than 10 years are eligible to avail the opportunity.
“Disbursement of the assistance for 2020-21 phase -1 will be done in October 2020. However, ‘Cesarean’ cases are not covered by the scheme currently as per the decision of the Medical Board,” it added.
