Outreach programme for children living with HIV/AIDS held

The outreach cum interaction and awareness programme was organised as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav under the Helping Hand Project.

District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Churachandpur in collaboration with Churachandpur Battalion Assam Rifle and Loktak Battalion Assam Rifles organised an outreach cum interaction and awareness programme on Thursday at Happiness Home, Churachandpur district.

Similar programme was held at different locations of Churachandpur town for children living with HIV/AIDS. It was organised as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav under the Helping Hand Project.

Chief judicial magistrate and DLSA Churachandpur secretary Janggoulen Haokip delivered a speech in connection with the programme held at Happiness Home. Later, essential items, including four bags of rice, dal and others were distributed to 83 children of the said children home.
