A release stated that the ombudsman office was inaugurated by adhyaksha, Imphal West Zila Parishad RK Taruni Devi.

RK Taruni Devi extended gratitude to the government for selecting a separate ombudsman for Imphal West district, and assured her support and cooperation to the ombudsman, it stated.

Ombudsman of Imphal West Yumnam Laksman Singh extended appreciation to Imphal West DC, DPC and project officers for allotting and furnishing the office, it added.
