The Naga People’s Front - Manipur State Unit (NPF/MSU) has condoled the sudden demise of its former executive member, K Kaiphuibou, who passed away on Saturday at his residence in Tarung, Imphal.
“The NPF/MSU is deeply saddened to learn of the demise of K Kaiphuibou on November 2, 2024 evening at his residence Tarung, Imphal, Honreikhui Kashung, general secretary (Admn), NPF/MSU stated in a release on Sunday.
He was a Member of Autonomous District Council from Kuilong DCC for two terms, 1979-1986, and Vice Chairman of ADC Tamenglong in 1984-86, the party stated.
Kaiphuibou was also an Executive Member of NPF/MSU during the tenure of 2015-2019, the party said, adding that he was a strong man with firm and high morality of the party principles. On his demise the party lost a good leader.
The party conveyed their deepest condolence to the bereaved family members.
