Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Monday denied all speculations and rumours about he and his cabinet team resigning, stating that Manipur is passing through a troubled period and in such a crucial time, the leaders of Manipur can’t afford to be weak.

The CM then asked “Who would lead the people” if they stepped down. More chaos would be created, he stated.

"We are fully confident of our abilities”, CM Biren reiterated saying leaders cannot be on shaky grounds as they are the one to guide the people.
