Nominations invited for Kalyan Baruah Memorial Awards

Nominations can be submitted by individuals on behalf of journalists who meet the eligibility criteria for the following categories i.e. print/digital media, electronic media, still photography, videography, stated a release.

Journalists from the Northeast region working anywhere in India, as well as journalists from any part of the country covering the Northeast (both regular and freelance) are being invited to apply for Kalyan Baruah Memorial Awards.  

Nominations can be submitted by individuals on behalf of journalists who meet the eligibility criteria for the following categories i.e. print/digital media, electronic media, still photography, videography, stated a release.

It stated that applicants must submit scanned copies of their byline stories or certified video clips (minimum 3, maximum 5). 

Each submission should clearly indicate the name of the publication/channel, date of publication/telecast, and language used( published/telecast during January 2023 to August 31, it stated.

For submissions in languages other than English, a brief summary of each item must be provided in English, it mentioned.

Applicants must also include their biodata, a copy of their organisation-issued ID card, and provide their detailed address, mobile phone number, and email ID, it stated. 

The deadline for nominations is September 30, and inquiries and submissions can be made at northeastmediaforumofficial@gmail.com, it stated. There are no age restrictions for submitting nominations, it added.
