UZO stated that it did not receive any official invitation or intimation to the said programme and that there was no official participation of the organisation in the reception.

UZO alleged that a few vested individuals with the instigation of MLA Singngat assembly constituency Ginsuanhau had gathered together at the venue to deceive the visiting dignitary as well as the public as representing the entire Zou community.

The few individuals who are actually workers of the Ginsuanhau have no authority to exhibit the banner of UZO which is the apex body of the Zou Community, UZO further stated.

UZO also advised Ginsuanhau “to refrain from abuse of UZO to further his vested political interest and unwholesome ambitions.”
