BJP Manipur Pradesh vice president K Saratkumar stated on Friday at the state party head office that there has been no instruction from central party leaders to shut down the state party office.
Saratkumar explained that due to the prevailing situation and the imposition of an indefinite curfew in the valley areas of Manipur, senior state party members advised that party members to avoid coming to the office as a precautionary measure. He clarified that there is no directive from central leaders to close the state party office.
He said the media report published regarding the instruction of shutting down the state party office from the Centre is baseless and mere speculation.
Responding to media queries, Saratkumar noted that he does not have the authority to comment on the imposition of curfews or other state-specific measures.
“Regarding developmental activities with the completion of 100 days of Modi 3.0, some changes can be observed, including the relocation of certain Assam Rifles battalions, but I do not wish to elaborate further,” Saratkumar said.
He urged the public not to create a panic situation and to continue placing their trust in the government.
