Stating that the main motive of RIMS is serving the patient with good care, newly appointed director of RIMS, Dr H Priyosakhi, on Wednesday stressed the need of extending support among the various departments of the hospital to provide healthcare services.
She made the statement during the observance of "Prosthodontist Day" by the Department of Prosthodontics Dental College, RIMS at its Library Hall in Imphal West.
The institution has been giving its best service since its inception with dedicated doctors and nurses despite lack of various infrastructures, she said, adding that now the institute has become one of the largest in the North East with fully-fledged infrastructures.
Lauding the faculties and students of the college for their achievement and progress by extending their works beyond their syllabus such as indulging in plastic surgery, the director assured to address all possible grievances faced by the college for its development.
Delivering the presidential speech, principal in-charge of the college, Dr Nandini, DB, said that the department of Prosthodontics has been giving its best service by providing them with good rehabilitation service.
She stressed the need of mass awareness on the treatment of various complicated conditions available in the department so that the public can avail the facilities.
Prizes were also distributed to students of the college who stand out at the Rangoli, Poster and Model, Soap Carving and Quiz competitions organised as a part of the programme.
