Prices of petrol and diesel were hiked across cities in India for the second day in a row on Wednesday.
As per the revised rate, petrol in Imphal now costs Rs 101.43 per litre as against Tuesday’s rate of Rs 100.65, up by 0.78 paise, while diesel price is Rs 85.77 up by 0.72, according to sources.
Meanwhile, petrol in Delhi now cost Rs 97.01 per litre and diesel Rs 88.27, according to sources.
Petrol was earlier priced Rs 96.21, while the cost of diesel was Rs 87.47 per litre, according to a price notification of state fuel retailers.
While fuel prices in Manipur fluctuated over the week, the fuel prices in Delhi were hiked on March 22 after over four-month-long period of no change in prices.
