During the ceremony, the Army officials acknowledged the tireless efforts of the students, their dedicated teachers, and supportive parents.

The General Officer Commanding, the Red Shield Division, felicitated the students. Earlier, a group of 35 students from the 2023-2024 NEET batch was selected from various districts of Manipur.

These students underwent rigorous training and preparation at the Manipur Super-50 classes from June 2023 to April 2024. Remarkably, 13 students cleared the exam in their first attempt, achieving a success rate of 37 per cent.

The Red Shield Centre of Wellness and Excellence, or Manipur Super-50, is a collaborative initiative between the Indian Army, the SBI Foundation, and the National Integrity and Educational Development Organisation (NIEDO).

This project aims to provide free residential coaching to deserving students from underprivileged backgrounds in Manipur. Army’s contributions included providing accommodation, setting up the project, and offering ongoing oversight to ensure the holistic development of the students.

The SBI Foundation, acting as the CSR partner, has provided substantial financial support, while NIEDO has played a crucial role in mentoring and educating the students, ensuring not only academic excellence but also psychological well-being.
