Singh was speaking on the sideline of the stage inauguration programme held at YWC ground, Patsoi Part 1, Imphal West district.

He said people of hills have church for organising social gathering and to share their ideas among each other, likewise Muslims have mosque. But Meiteis do not have a proper place for social gathering or for discussing developmental activities. Due to the lack of such place, misunderstanding occurs frequently among the community.

To reduce such misunderstandings, Rameshwor donated the stage at YWC ground and he assured to donate more similar stages at Patsoi assembly constituency.

Time has come to understand the composite history of every ethnic community of the state by including them in school syllabus. If composite history is made aware, mutual respect for each other community can be increased, he said.

Existence of mutual respect for each other among the various ethnic communities can eliminate issues and problems among the communities, Rameshwor added.
