The new branch of North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd (NEDFi), Churachandpur was inaugurated by Minister Nemcha Kipgen in the presence of the CMD of NEDFi PVSLN Murty, its Executive Director SK Baruah, officials of the district administration, entrepreneurs of the district among others.
The new branch office is located on the third floor of Radiant Building at Bijang Family Lane, Tiddim Road, Churachandpur.
After the inauguration, the minister spoke about the importance of DEDFi in the development of entrepreneurship where lack of capital was a major problem. She expressed her hope that this new branch will break the chain in the development of infrastructure, education, micro and macro finance, etc. She also called on the officials to organise a joint workshop with her department.
"I congratulate you and hope that this initiative today will go a long way in helping the entrepreneurs of the district," the minister said.
NEDFi was established in August 9, 1995 as a public limited company under the Company Act of 1956 which had a commitment to ensure the improvement of income level of common man of the region through their 20 branches across North East India.
