A reception ceremony of national awardee Wangjam Robin who was conferred ‘Dr Ambedkar Fellowship National Award, 2021’ was organised by Young Sporting Club, Khekman at Khekman Jilla community ground on Sunday.
Wangjam Robin was conferred with the Dr Ambedkar Fellowship National Award by Bharatiya Dalit Jilla Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi on December 10, 2021.
The reception ceremony was attended by the principal, DM College of Commerce and controller of examination, DM University A Nabachandra as the chief guest; former president of YSC Thongam Chandra as the president; and associate professor of Thoubal College as guest of honour. As part of the ceremony, the speakers of the event commended Wangjam Robin on his achievements, after which the organisers presented Robin with congratulatory gifts.
