Club president Sapam Subhangkar who took part in the protest told mediapersons that the bomb attack was carried out at the gate of the house of one Laikangbam Dorendro.

Dorendro is employed as an assistant registrar of the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Lamphel, Imphal West, he mentioned.

The blast occurred on Monday night but no organisation has claimed responsibility so far, he said, asking why the state government was unable to trace the culprits yet.
