All Assam Manipuri Muslim Meira Paibi was formed in a meeting held at Koroikandi Junior College in Jiribam on Sunday.

The Retired teacher, Konthoujam Mangoljao presided and attended Th Iboton Singh principal of Waskandi Junior College, Abdul Wari Choudhury principal Koroikandi Junior College and Lakhipur ZPC, Kabram Anita.
The meeting resolved to appoint Zubeda Begum from Nungphou as president and Zubeda Begum from Lobok Part IV as secretary along with four advisors.

The newly formed meira paibi further resolved to support in any of the protests held in Assam with regards to the demand of inclusion of Manipuri as associate official language of the state.
