The Chief Judicial Magistrate, Imphal East on Friday remanded three persons in police custody for eight days till June 26 in connection with a murder case.

The Chief Judicial Magistrate, Imphal East on Friday remanded three persons in police custody for eight days till June 26 in connection with a murder case.
The three persons namely, Ningthoujam Rakesh Meitei (21), son of N Inao Meitei of Yaingangpokpi Awang Leikai; Ningthoujam Jiten (50), son of N Ramsing of Yaingangpokpi Awang Leikai and Ningthoujam Arunjit Meitei (29), son of N Jiten Meitei of Yaingangpokpi Awang Leikai were arrested on June 17 in connection with a murder case of one Ningthoujam Roshan @ Ipi (36), son of N Ramsing on June 16.
During preliminary interrogation, the three accused disclosed that they murdered N Roshan. Following it, police prayed for remanding them in police custody to enable them to unearth the facts of the case.
The court, after hearing the submission, remanded them in police custody for eight days.
