MSPDCL seeks more time to clear road

The road between Bukpi Village and Pherzawl was blocked by a truck carrying a replaced 132 kV of electric transformer from Sikpuikawn to Lamka broke down, creating inconvenience to the public.

The MSPDCL has asked the people of Pherzawl District and Thanlon Sub Division for a few more days to clear the road after their truck carrying a 132 kV electric transformer broke down and blocked the road.

The road between Bukpi Village and Pherzawl was blocked by a truck carrying a replaced 132 kV of electric transformer from Sikpuikawn to Lamka broke down, creating inconvenience to the public.

Deputy Manager of MSPDCL Gouminlian Tungnung confided that a recovery truck or Poclain, which will handle the recovery of the truck, has been sought from higher authorities and called for cooperation from the public.

The Deputy Manager said that the road may be blocked for another two or three days as the task of recovering the stranded truck was not possible for a mere JCB  that was available due to its heavy load. So, he appealed to the people of Pherzawl District and Thanlon subdivision to understand their problems.
