Manipur People’s Party (MPP) informed that the annual party conference will be held on May 31 as per a decision taken by the party’s central committee in a meeting held on Monday.
MPP in a release said that the meeting also discussed in depth details about the local civic body election to be held in June this year.
According to MPP’s constitution of article number VIII (2), the general conference of the party will be held to elect a new full term president of the party as the term of the current interim president is about to end, said the release.
The release further appealed to the president/secretary of the constituencies to submit their renewed list of constituency committee members at the state office before April 15.
