MP Leishemba Sanajaoba is member of Parliament’s Official Language Committee

Rajya Sabha MP Leishemba Sanajaoba has been elected along with five others as members of the Committee on Official Language of the Parliament.

Rajya Sabha MP Leishemba Sanajaoba has been elected along with five others as members of the Committee on Official Language of the Parliament.

According to the Rajya Sabha Parliamentary Bulletin, the other four members are Anil Sukhdeorao Bonde, Neeraj Dangi, Dharmshila Gupta, Dinesh Sharma and Sumer Singh Solanki. They were elected to the said Committee on Wednesday, it stated.

MP Leishemba Sanajaoba took to X to express his gratitude to the Rajya Sabha Chairman for electing him as a member of the Official Language Committee of Parliament.

As per the bulletin, five Rajya Sabha members were elected to serve as members of the five AIIMS namely Kesridevsinh Jhala (AIIMS, Rajkot); Dr Ajeet Madhavrao Gopchade (AIIMS, Nagpur); Samik Bhattacharya (AIIMS, Kalyani); Subhash Barala (AIIMS, Rewari) and Surendra Singh Nagar (AIIMS, New Delhi).

It also mentioned that Rajya Sabha member, S Selvaganabathy, Member, Rajya Sabha has been elected to the Jawaharlal Institute of Post-Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER).

The elections were carried out in pursuance of the Motions adopted by the House on July 30 2024, it added.
