Moreh Working Journalists Union elects office bearers

MOWJU elected new office bearers for the term 2022-24 in a general body meeting held in Moreh.

Moreh Working Journalists Union (MOWJU) on Sunday elected new office bearers for the term 2022-24 in a general body meeting held in Moreh. AIR correspondent L Brojendro Singh was the returning officer of the election.

The newly elected office bearers are ISTV correspondent S Sanjoy as president, Sanaleibak news correspondent Y Mangang as vice president, IS news correspondent L Luckyboi as general secretary, Impact TV correspondent M Inaocha as treasurer and Kangleipak ki Meira correspondent L Ronaldo as public information secretary.

The ST-Morcha, Tengnoupal District, on behalf of its local populace, has express its profound gratitude to the Government of Manipur under the leadership of CM Biren Singh and local MLA, Letpao Haokip for their enormous efforts in ensuring effective medical service delivery at grassroots levels within Tengnoupal district in time.

There were times when health activist such as ASHA, ANM and Anganwadi workers exist only on paper or sluggish in nature however, with the formation of BJP-led government in Manipur such inexorable logic had become a mere history of the past inefficient government, Minlal Haokip, President of ST-Morcha, Tengnoupal district and SK Reenbo, Secretary of the ST-Morcha said in a press release.

“Today, the people of Tengnoupal are grateful to have reap the harvest of ‘Again and again BJP-More and More Development’ we have full faith with the present government that similar intervention may also be taken in all existing departments in coming days” they stated.

The ST-Morcha also expressed their gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner of Tengnoupal, Mannuamching IAS and all existing ASHA, ANM and Anganwadi workers for their tireless effort in implementing the backbones of India’s Rural Health and Care Services.
