Concerning the common habit of littering on the roads and drains, he said, “Keeping ourselves and houses clean is not enough. We also need to keep our surroundings clean. Let’s create the habit of littering in the dustbin.”

Highlighting the basics of good personal hygiene, he stressed the need of washing hands regularly, covering mouth while coughing or sneezing, brushing twice a day and making a habit of routine showers.

Regarding the various competitions organised regularly by organisations or government especially for students, he encouraged the students to always take part in those competitions.

Competitions motivate students to enhance their reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills besides improving their academic performance, he explained.
