First position holder of Manipur Judicial Service Grade III Recruitment Examination 2022 Neera Sinam was felicitated on Saturday by the Association for the Promotion of Meritorious Students of Chingmeirong (APMSC) during a function held in Imphal East.
During the function, silver medallist of Men’s Double and Men’s Team Table Tennis in the 2nd Northeast Olympic Games 2022 Yendrembam Boy, son of late Y Komoljit and Y ongbi Ibecha Devi, was also felicitated. As the champion was out of station, his mother received the memento and citation on his behalf.
Speaking on the occasion as chief guest, Wangkhei AC MLA Th Arunkumar said such a felicitation programme is a good initiative of encouraging the growing youths to pursue their goals and aims. Successful students and players are the role models of the younger students and players, he added.
Lauding Neera, daughter of Dr Sinam Rajen and Dr H Priyosakhi of Chingmeirong Mamang Leikai, Imphal East, for becoming the first in the locality to crack the MJS examination and Boy for his achievement, the MLA wished them both good luck in their future endeavours.
The programme was also attended by APMSC president S Subhaschandra and APMSC advisors Dr H Priyokumar and Akendra Rajkumar as presidium members.
