Manipur CAFPD Minister L Sushindro has cast aspersions against the group Youth of Manipur (YoM) while asserting that there is some similarity in demands raised by Youth of Manipur (YOM) and group of people who is out to destroy Manipur.
He also asked whether any of CSOs are connected with YoM.
Speaking to the press on Monday, Minister Sushindro said most of the valley based CSOs and students bodies have made a point against the imposition of President's Rule (PR) in the state while YoM volunteers seems to be welcoming it. Their demand for CM’s resignation means YoM wants PR, he added.
The minister also condemned Manipur Awang Chingkhei Kanba Apunba Meira Paibi and Clubs who on Saturday night tried to steer Khurai Meira Paibis in the wrong direction. They had alleged that Meira Paibis of Khurai AC are protecting the minister’s house, which is completely wrong.
He said, it is okay for Meira Paibis and youths from neighbouring constituencies to come and pay condolences to the departed at Khurai area, but deriding the Meira Paibis of Khurai is wrong.
