Minister Nemcha Kipgen launches Hank to Bobbin Winding Machine in Churachandpur

The minister lauded the proprietor of NKC handloom S Chongboi Kipgen, for her effort that landed her many state and national awards and assured all possible help.

Minister Nemcha Kipgen on Saturday launched the Hank to Bobbin Winding machine and inaugurated the NKC Handloom Showroom at Koite village and Hmar veng respectively in the presence of the Saikot AC MLA Paulenlal Haokip and Project Manager, Handlooms and Textile, Churachandpur, Th Ibemcha Devi.

After inaugurating the NKC handloom Showroom, the minister and her team launched the Hank and Bobbin Winding Machine. The minister lauded the proprietor of NKC handloom S Chongboi Kipgen, for her effort that landed her many state and national awards and assured all possible help. 

Perseverance and persistence was needed to achieve something and Chongboi has done us proud and we should be inspired by it, said the minister asking the village chief to apply in writing so that a Common Facility Centre will be stationed at Koite village which will be one of her priorities.

The MLA of Saikot said that there should be at least 60-70 people like Chongboi, who presently employs 30 people so that development will be fostered while, at the same time, asking the NKC team to ask what they need to the concerned Minister so that maximum profit will be derived.
